Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid spoke to the media today and gave an update on the laundry list of injuries impacting the 3-9 team currently. Former starting quarterback Michael Vick still has not passed his concussion exam and neither has starting running back LeSean McCoy. Kurt Coleman was injured Sunday against Dallas with a chest problem and Colt Anderson will practice in his place. Danny Watkins is fully healthy but the Eagles will continue to stick with Jake Scott as starting right guard.
Obviously Reid announced earlier in the week that Nick Foles will start for the remainder of the regular season. Bryce Brown will start again for McCoy if he’s unable to be cleared in time to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McCoy is still suffering from concussion-like symptoms so I’d say he’s close to doubtful to practice let alone play. If Coleman can’t make it back in time Anderson will start also for him.
