It’s odd to say, but Chip Kelly may be influenced by Bill Parcells. On the surface, it seems a rather ridiculous statement to make. Parcells was an authoritative disciplinarian over both players and coaches. He was crass and curmudgeonly. Kelly, on the other hand, appears to be more of a collaborator, a coach with distinct ideas who is willing to delegate thoughtfully. Both men share the same agent so no surprise Mortnesen breaks the story. This is a shocking turn of events as Kelly had interviewed with the Eagles for 9 hours last week before it was reported Kelly would return to the Ducks as their head coach. Today the Philadelphia Eagles front office staff is meeting with the Seattle Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley for the second time in hopes of hiring him as the new Head Coach. Bradley met with the Eagles once already and flew into Philadelphia today to sit down for a follow-up interview. Bradley is scheduled to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars in regards to their opening tomorrow if terms are not agreed upon today.

Dirk Koetter to interview for Eagles Head Coach Job
FOXsports.com’s Alex Marvez is reporting that Atlanta Falcons Offensive Coordinator Dirk Koetter is set to interview with the Philadelphia Eagles for the open Head Coach position. He also has interviews set up with the Kansas City Chiefs & Cleveland Browns. Koetter was mentioned by HighPhive.net’s Paul Dorn a couple weeks ago as a replacement for Andy Reid after his eventual firing. The 53 year old coordinator has never been a Head Coach in the NFL but has coached in the NCAA.
Koetter coached Boise State from 1998-2000 compiling a 26-10 record leading them to two bowl victories. After 2000 he was hired by Arizona State and in his first season went 1-7 before finishing his time there in 2006 with a 40-34 record and a 2-2 record in bowl games. DeSean Jackson’s Comments A Reflection On Andy Reid
Early Tuesday morning, DeSean Jackson appeared on ESPN Radio’s national morning program, the Mike and Mike Show. While there, Jackson was asked about the effect being booed by Philadelphia fans has on him and his Eagles teammates. This question was undoubtedly in response to the way Eagles fans lustily booed their team following a porous effort coming off their bye week against Atlanta, a 30-17 loss that left the Eagles 3-4.
